The mythical river of the Ganges, a temple on its bank,
and his few students who perhaps dream of being elsewhere.
Among them, Debendra, a young man of twenty who
seeks to flourish through learning the
Sanskrit and vedas. A traditional path threatened by
modernity, symbolized by tourism yet
necessary for the survival of the temple.
