Riad, Bene and Dono have come together driven by a pressing need to honour their friend, Dimitri, a victim of street violence. Anxious to own the debate around their friend’s death and to speak out about the reality of daily life for young people in Brussels. The three boys played their own roles and left the directing to Julian Bordeau. In this short film, they re-enact the hours before their friend’s funeral, questioning with emotion and sincerity the importance of personal and collective mourning.
